I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lahori Chai Shai, and it was a fantastic experience! Their halwa puri and anda paratha are truly exceptional, easily some of the best I’ve had. The halwa puri was a perfect start to the meal — light, fluffy puris with a subtly sweet and fragrant halwa that just melts in your mouth. The chana (chickpeas) that came with it were seasoned beautifully, striking that ideal balance of spice and flavor. The anda paratha was another highlight, perfectly flaky with just the right amount of crispiness. Overall, the flavors and quality at Lahori Chai Shai made it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Pakistani breakfast!
A delightful addition to my favourite road in Manchester (and possibly the UK!) Excellent in every way! No cutlery No bookings No alcohol Brilliant tasty food as you would have in Lahore. The perfect place for a tasty breakfast or meal located next door to the amazing Levenshulme bakery. Welcoming staff and friendly relaxed service. Breakfast set highly recommended. Looking forward to the next visit!
Nice tea but the kheer was not tasty at all, need improvement in that and I love the design on the tables
Lahori breakfast was fantastic. Woke my palate up on a rainy Sunday morning with huge flavours. Chicken paratha was great too. I liked that the karak chai wasn’t sweetened already (they had sugar we could add at our own discretion). Great price and service, need to come back to try more!
Really enjoyed the desi breakfast here, has such a lovely pakistani feel to the place. Service was lovely and food was top notch. I ordered the desi breakfast which is a spicy omelette with chanay and a paratha an chaii but instead of karak chaii I paid the extra pound an tried the matka chai which was infusion of cardamoms an other spices an served in a lovely clay pot drinking cup. The desi breakfast was delicious and also tried the samosa with the green chutney easily one of the best samosas have had in a long time. The parathas are home cooked style, I even got the also stuffed paratha which was lovely. I also got a mixed grill, served with chips seekh kebabs an chicken boti, again loved the seekh kebab the only thing I didn't enjoy too much was the chicken boti. On a whole price wise very affordable I spent between 25 to 30 and was enough to fill mlre than 2 bellies up. Highly reccomend this place located on the ever so busy stockport road in Levenshulme, Massive respect for the service and great food and would definately be back in'sha'allah.
The food was excellent! We enjoyed Chicken Biryani and Mutton Karahi, finishing it off with a delightful cup of Karak Chai. .
The food was delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced. The decor evoked the feeling of being in Lahore, adding to the experience. The customer service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place.
Overall, a great experience with the authentic taste of Pakistani food. The place is usually quite busy, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly. They accept both cash and card payments. My personal favourite is their special tea, "Matka Chai"—highly recommended! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. Let me know if you'd like it to sound more casual, professional, or humorous!
